Guatemala Mission Trips

UPDATE** Due to COVID, we are unsure when our next mission trip will be. We are hoping and praying that it will be in 2021. Please check out our blog “January trip 2020” to read about all the wonderful things God did during our time serving together with our short term missionaries from the US and our youth group in Guatemala. It was amazing and blessed us more than we could have imagined.

Keep checking back for updates on our next trip. The airport in Guatemala is opening in September so we pray mission trips will resume very soon.

January 3-11, 2020

We are excited to announce our next mission trip to Hope if Life International in Zacapa, Guatemala is January 3 – 11, 2020. We would love for you to join us and experience God in a whole new way! You will be a part of the transformation that is happening at Hope of Life village.

You will experience his love like never before, as He shows you that love has no borders or language barriers. But is much greater and deeper, surpassing all our limitations.

You will have the opportunity to serve by building a house for a family that desperately needs shelter, safety and security that a home would bring them.

You will pack and distribute Christmas Hope sacks with tennis shoes or school shoes, socks, t-shirts, school supplies and toys to the village of Esperanza de Vida.

You participate in ministry opportunities through worship with our village, youth ministry, and building relationships. If you sponsor a child through our program, you will be able to meet your child and continue to grow the bond between you. You also have opportunities to visit babies in the nutrition center and elderly home.

When you arrive on Friday, January 3rd at 9:10 pm, we will spend a night in the city and on Saturday we will travel to Hope of Life International. We will serve there until Friday morning, when we will leave HOL for a trip to Antigua, Guatemala where you will experience the rich culture and beautiful volcanoes. We will spend the day and night in Antigua. On Saturday, we will leave Antigua for the airport for your 2:21 departure back to Richmond.

We will be offering a ATV tour of the volcanoes while in Antigua. If that’s not your thing, no worries. There is lots of shopping and beautiful places to visit.

Join us and allow the Lord to transform your life through his love and the love of these wonderful people.
